Stansell Construction completed a ground-up restaurant construction project for Raising Cane's in Buckeye, Arizona. The standard prototype build includes a drive-through, a dining room seating approximately 50 to 60 guests, and a full commercial kitchen.
This Raising Cane's was one of the first projects to break ground in its development area, and that early timing created a real challenge: the site's electrical infrastructure wasn't fully designed yet.
Specifically, there were open questions about where and when the restaurant would tie into the development's Primary Distribution Loop, which is the main circuit that routes power throughout a large-scale development. Because that loop design hadn't been finalized, there was no clear path to getting power to the building when Stansell first mobilized.
Rather than waiting for answers to come, Stansell worked directly with the local municipality, the power utility provider, and the Cane's design team to sort through the obstacles together. That collaboration helped identify efficient solutions that kept the project on track without creating problems for the rest of the development's infrastructure.
