Texas came onto our radar in 2022, when a legacy client asked us to start working in the state. It was a great opportunity for our growth, and an investment we were happy to make.
From the start, we knew that being effective in a state this size meant having people on the ground. We intentionally hired Texas-based project managers, project coordinators, and superintendents to support the work. That physical presence helped us build real relationships with trade partners, municipalities, and clients, even when we were considered the new guys.
Texas has a lot of eyes on it, especially from the national brands we work with. As more of those brands set their sights on the state, we've been introduced to additional clients looking for a reliable construction partner on new projects. McDonald's, Chick-fil-A, Salad and Go, and Wonder Kitchen are some of our most notable clients here.
Our footprint continues to grow, with recent hires focused on the Dallas area, and we're actively looking for strong talent in the market to support clients on every project.

Early in the build, our team discovered that the original masonry installation (the decorative stone exterior) didn't meet our quality standards. Rather than work around it, we made the call to fully remove and reinstall the stone with a new contractor. It added complexity, but the end result exceeded expectations without pushing back the turnover date.
The project also came with a municipality that was highly engaged from day one, closely monitoring the work as construction got underway. Through consistent communication and transparency, what started as a cautious relationship turned into a genuine partnership. By the end of the project, our team had built strong, lasting connections with city representatives, a reminder that early challenges, handled well, can lead to the best long-term outcomes.
