STANSELL® Construction is pleased to announce Neil Pemberton as the VP of Operations. Although Neil is not necessarily new to the company, this is a new position for him within the organization. In speaking with Neil about his new role, he shared, “I am excited about the opportunity to help continue to grow the business and about helping ensure we have the best people with the best support systems in the industry.”
Neil Pemberton has a long history in leadership in McDonald’s, with his last position before SPD being a Director for the McDonald’s in the Raleigh NC region. He started with SPD as the Senior Director of Business Development and Labor Strategy before his promotion in April. “Neil joined our company with a primary focus to help us lead in diversity and inclusion and has done a tremendous job! This will continue to be a big focus in our organization both internally and within our subbase, and we are expanding his role dramatically moving forward,” explained CEO, John Stege.
Neil’s role will be to work directly with COO, Jim Kurtz, and HR Manager, Donna Ihle, to help SPD continue to bring in the best people, make sure they are properly trained, and that they are given the tools they need to fully execute their position. In addition, Neil will be working as a leader within the organization with John and Jim’s full support to help make sure that the culture permeates throughout the entire organization. He will help establish policies and procedures that ensure consistency and support teamwork open communication.
