Professional Background

Andy earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering from the University of Southern Mississippi, completing his degree between 1993 and 1999. This foundation in construction engineering has supported his technical understanding and leadership approach throughout his career.

His construction career began with McDonald's Corporation, where he spent over 21 years advancing through progressively responsible roles. Starting in June 1999 as Area Construction Manager for the Great Southern Region, Andy demonstrated strong project management capabilities and customer service focus. He advanced to Regional Construction Manager for the Indianapolis Region in July 2004, managing construction operations across a multi-state territory.

In September 2007, Andy returned to the Great Southern Region as Regional Construction Manager, where he spent over six years overseeing construction delivery and team development. His continued excellence led to his appointment as Regional Director of Development for the Great Southern Region in February 2014, followed by promotion to U.S. Construction Manager for USRD in February 2015.

Andy's career with McDonald's culminated in his role as U.S. Construction Director for USRD from November 2016 to May 2021, where he led multi-regional construction and development programs, supported West Development initiatives, and served on the National Construction Team. This experience gave him comprehensive exposure to large-scale construction operations, strategic planning, and leadership at a national level.

In May 2021, Andy joined Salad and Go as Vice President of Construction, where he contributed to significant expansion in new builds. During his three years with the rapidly growing company, Andy grew construction capacity and oversaw completion of over 110 ground-up locations as the business scaled its footprint across multiple markets. This high-growth environment reinforced his ability to build scalable systems, manage rapid expansion, and deliver exceptional results under demanding timelines.

Andy joined Stansell Construction in June 2024 as Vice President of Operations, bringing his extensive restaurant construction expertise and operational leadership to the organization. His promotion to Chief Operating Officer in April 2025 recognized his immediate impact on the company's operational performance and strategic direction, positioning him to lead Stansell's continued growth and market expansion.
